Lucid dream is type of conscious state in dreams, where a person is usually aware of his/her dreams during the sleep. However, controlling the dream or coming to know it as a dream is quite rare. The fun fact is, I personally have experienced it only once in my lifetime!
2. It is Possible To See Strangers In Dreams
Most people disagree that we cannot see the new faces in our dreams. But that is not true, However, I have personally seen many new faces in my dreams. And some researchers also believe that, "Our brain has the ability to generate new faces by combining the faces from different people that we have seen before." But not everybody can see the strange faces in their dreams or they can experience it in future. But I believe, people who are usually creative in thinking or have better imaginations, can possibly see new faces in their dreams.
3. You Can Hear The Sound In Dreams
While you are asleep, if any type of noise or music is going on around you or in the room, then it's more likely hear the same sound in your sleep dreams too. But it may be not very clear and it may happen in different ways. Because you are in sleep and you may not come to know exactly what is happening around you.
Also, if you hear any music in your room while you are asleep, the same music you will hear in dream while you are travelling in train. And if anybody keeps knocking or doing busy works around you, you feel like you are passing around the construction work in dream with similar noise. Whatever happens in your dreams, it is more likely to happen for you during the sleep, and whatever happens during the sleep, it may also reflect in your dreams. Like, If you pee in dreams, then you are actually peeing while you are asleep. And If you laugh in dreams, then you may also laugh during the sleep.
5. Dreams Don't Predict Your Future
According to research, dreams doesn't mean anything and it does not have any impact on our life. Instead they’re just an electrical impulses that pulls out random events from past memories in our brain and it does not tell or predict anything about life or future. But, our past memories and behavior can affect our sleep dreams.

Sometimes there’s a chance of repeating the same dream twice, and again this is also a rare case. But, the exact reason for this causes is unknown. However, even I experienced the same dream twice, once in my lifetime.

This is because maybe you are living in toxic social environment or facing tough times in your life. The remedy to minimize all these negative effects is to get rid of SAD and toxic social environment.
However, happiness and calm mindset can have positive impact on our dreams. But stress, anxiety and sleep disorders can negatively impact our sleep dreams.
8. You Cannot Die In Your Dreams
The moment when are closer to near death experience in your dreams, you will wake up suddenly. This is because, whenever you are in trouble in your dreams, your brain produces hypnic jerks that which makes you get into full consciousness.
9. You Cannot Dream In Hibernation State
Hibernation or cryosleep is like a sleep-state of being inactive for a long time (months to year). In hibernation state, you can't dream, and your breathing rate, body temperature and the metabolic functions are deeply reduced. The purpose of hibernation is, to slow down aging in order to survive without any food, air and water for a long time.
But the concept of hibernation in humans is still a myth, and there is no proof that any humans have hibernated till now. However, some birds and animals can hibernate.
10. You Cannot Ask Questions Or Be Aware Of Yourself In Dreams
In order to ask questions or to be self-aware, one needs to have a consciousness. But in sleep dreams, the level of consciousness is limited, so the ability to ask questions or having self-awareness and critical thinking are also limited. As the dreamer is deeply immersed into the dream world which lacks from the same level of observation, self-awareness, thinking and consciousness as compared to reality.

16. About 75% of the people, attempt to fall back asleep in the morning to continue or finish their incomplete dream. This is because dreamer is desired to explore and resolve the unfinished narrative of the dream. By returning to sleep, they hope to reenter the dream world and pick up where they left off & curious to see what happens further in dreams.
17. False awakening dream is type of vivid and convincing dream, where dreamer usually feel like they have achieved their goals and activities, but in reality they have not yet done anything, which are completely a false experience. The False awakening dreams are more common in morning dreams.

19. Sleepwalking is type of sleep disorder and also called as parasomnia, where a person tend to walk, talk or perform abnormal activities during the sleep with their eyes open. And the dreamer is unaware of their actions and may not have memory of the event after awakening, but they can recall what happened in their dreams. It usually occurs during non-REM sleep and are more common in children and young adults.
During sleep paralysis our mind becomes partially awake and can realize what’s happening around us, but unable to move or speak no matter what. During sleep your brain paralyze your muscles from moving or acting of dreams. Most people during the sleep paralysis experience weird sound and sensations.
20. Sleep grogginess or sleep inertia is in which for the first three minutes when you wake up from sleep, you wont be able to remember anything clearly.
